People saying X and Y's difficulty, is referring to how you are given access to Mega Evolutions and multiple freebie Mega's, that allows you to curbstomp the game against an entire region that doesn't use Mega's save for 2 fucking trainers, Lysnadre and Diantha.
You can bring up the difficulty in other games, but they don't have this main problem that X and Y have.
Even ORAS does a better job at balancing Mega's across the game.
