I don't know if all the DS emulators on google play are bad, or if the pokemon diamond/pearl rom is bad, or if the android tablet just can't handle it...

Can someone link to an emulator and rom that they know for sure runs smooth like butter (3D and audio) on an android device?

Just use Drastic. Google free Drastic apk and download and install it. If you have a hacked 3DS you can use Twilight menu++.

This is the secret Emufags don't like to address.
Anything new than the SNES/GBA is gonna be extremely hit or miss. You either need to sit there fucking with options until things run right, find a emulator/rom that works for your hardware, or have a beast of a machine to brute force a game from the DS.

Only HGSS have problems with desmume or drastic, since you need a patched rom to avoid the anti piracy.
Emulation is just a brainlet filter.

Googling was too sketchy. Torrented the apk installed, and yeah, Drastic was much better 3d and audio right from the start.
It was so much better that I'm honestly just going to get a prepaid google play card and buy it officially for the few bucks. I'm going to put in an hour just to make sure.
