If you're doing this solo like I did, it helps to have allies that have pokemon that can Intimidate or paralyze the owl.
If you're low on health, I'd also recommend using heal Cheers to heal your Miraidon instead of using Parabolic Charge.
The bad thing about Parabolic Charge is that it damages the owl. And if you damage it too much, it will get rid of the Metal Sound debuffs when it brings up its shield.
It will also start Sword Dancing when its shield is active. So it's best to destroy it in 1 hit with Electric Drift before it ever gets a chance to bring it up.
