>>53458036Honestly going by how PLA shows Sinnoh being established from Jubilife it seems like it is pretty modular with towns generally deciding over themselves and the general surrounding area and just cooperating with shit like the League out of convenience because the League has muscle and a technical underlying "Might Makes Right" aspect since a sufficiently strong trainer/pokémon can ruin everyones day at any moment (as seen with various teams across the series).
Basically it is Anarchy that settled into a order, but in the sense that the strongest who are doing what they want with their powerful monsters and everyone else have to exist around that, which is why the League seems to have such power, it attracts the strongest Trainers and the strongest Trainers can make the most impact which is why the Champion is always in the upper echelon of society and mingling with CEOs and world-renowned scientists, as seen in the siege of
Silph.Co even being a rich megacorp doesn't mean SHIT when faced against a sufficiently powerful trainer and needs the backing of a even stronger trainer to be resolved.
