>>53459165Well, Breloom can do things that aren’t just spore, and it uses it better once it’s out (Spore into STAB Focus Punch with 130 ATK can be nasty). STAB priority with Mach Punch, it isn’t cripplongly slow regardless, for some reason it gets leech seed while Parasect doesn’t, and best of all it isn’t a bug type.
And then in later gens it gets technician too, which is great.
Breloom is just a way stronger mon, so I’m fine with having the wait exist for him to be optimal.
