>>53469944>Hardly any difference from the noodle legsIt objectively is you nonce. The legs are dumb but have a very clear point in the design; giving it the figure of someone riding a horse. Giving it a body that could do that better is an obvious change that was not made.
>So they're both shit for not having personalities incorporated into their design? It's a flaw in the original design's appearance that is made worse in the redesign as they artist claimed they were "fixing" Calyrex instead of just doing an alternate interpretation yes.
>If Calyrex isn't and doesn't need to be offputtingWhy are you talking about a metric I never mentioned still?
>why would a redesign need to be to match up to it?Because you insufferable shitstain, both (you) AND the artist are presenting it as a redesign meant to IMPROVE upon Calyrex instead of just some alt take. If you're going to make that claim, but neither do a better execution of the original concepts, introduce new ones to spice things up, or radically change concepts for a better overall creation you have fundamentally failed the goal you set out for. This is not a hard idea to grasp.
>the things you have been shitting on the redesign for the last posts are things Calyrex does poorly as well.Repeating what I said as a counterpoint is not a substitute for critical thinking, so I'll make it simpler.
Samurott is often criticized for it's anatomy not matching it's sword fighting style when Dewott was fine. Now imagine instead of say, removing the scalchops and focus on it being an armored samurai, making it able to actually stand and use the swords in a believable manner, etc.they just made it more sea lion like and changed the moustache. Now imagine that after people pointed out that this didn't accomplish anything, and explicitly pointed out multiple reasons this new Samurott fails to fix anything about Samurott, some dude went "b-but Samurott uggo" as a comeback.
