When I saw her, I was like "Oh, cool. I like archeology and museums"
Then I heard the controversy after few years and was confused. It's like saying that a Japanese with a rifle is WW2 USA propaganda pic.
She's an archeologist, of course she has an apron. Aprons doesn't make anyone a racist caricature. And she has normal pants under it, not a dress like the caricature.
Murica makes me sad, I don't mind the new artwork, it's cool pose afterall. The reason for it makes me sad.
I feel depressed now. People defend their own racist kneejerk reactions as some kind of virtue.
