H.Samurott is a japanese sea lion

No.53471399 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
One of the animals that served as inspiration for Samurott are the sea lions, mainly two of the Genus Zalophus. Unovan Samurott is the California sea lion (Zalophus californianus) which is a very common specie on the west coast of the US (Unova in real life). Already the Hisuian Samurott is the Japanese sea lion (Zalophus japonicus) that unfortunately the species was extinct, by the name this sea lion was found throughout the archipelago of Japan including the island of hokkaido (Hisiu in real life), curiously as well as H.Typhlosion and H.Decidueye, the H.Samurott is only found in the past which perhaps became extinct.
