Lillie was a damsel in distress, which is surprisingly refreshing. Some people were pissed she took the spotlight of the story but eh at least she didn't feel like the usual heckin ebic quriky character with one personality trait.
Hop was completly boring and forgettable, also he's a Galarian pakki because apparently the great replacement is cannon in pokémon. The only thing that shows potential is the end where he grows frustrated at loosing to the trainer so he pursues being a professor instead, which is cool.
