I really expected MPM to have more focus on character, with Cilan appearing I thought wed get one last hurrah for the other companions like Serena or Iris too. But no, after the third episode the story is exclusively focused on Ash, and his personality is suddenly bland again.

And then there was the special AU episode that came out before Misty's episode, mentioning his dad. Combine those things together and I really thought they were going to give closure to all the long standing loose threads

At least the episodes are fun :)
