I really do get what the RG sprite is going for but it's just a little too ugly for me; I was actually playing those games recently and caught one with the Mew glitch, and then immediately after realized "I don't actually want to use this." The international RB sprite is pretty cute though, and I think its Gen 2 sprites were good too.
The solid bubblegum pink color doesn't look great, and generally I think they really quickly made it look pretty lumpy/ugly again too.
