Turo & Sada were both cunts who wanted to ditch Arven from a beginning. The whole AI telling Arven hoe much his parents love him is pure bullshit, if they love him so much then why do an AI with their exact personality would rather fuck off to do research instead of making up for his abandonment by not sealing it?

If you meant the parents themselves, they were already too deep in the work and far gone with what the piece of shit turtle gave them tp create the Time Machine and AI.

If you meant the AI itself, the entire problem with the plot is that the AI can be reprogrammed to stop whatever is causing it to shut down. The entire problem is that the machine is continuing to spew out Paradoxes, like the Titan Great Tusk that managed to bust out, so they needed you to come and shut it down yourself.

They were not mesmerized by the crystals at all, in their journals it's pretty clear that they only see them as a means to an end and go back to build the time machine the moment they get enough funding for their research.
Sada/Turo cause their own death by being autisticly obsessed with some story that might not even have actually happened.

The AI was created with the Professor's Mindset and goal but it wasn't retarded enough to allow the dangers that it could happen.
It didn't want to reveal that the Professor's dead yet, so it had to stay in character.

The only thing the AI knew was that if anyone tried to shut the time machine down, she will be reprogrammed to attack them.
The PPP was an entirely different backup plan the AI didn't even know about.
The professor must have been pretty fucking paranoid to make something behind the AI's back.
