We literally just make all the games over again starting with RBY, but using full 3d graphics, over-the-shoulder perspective, and with all the updates. No pokemon from gens 1-9 are able to be transferred to gens 10 and beyond; that's right fuckers, we're canceling Pokemon Home for good and all your pokemon are gonna die and you're gonna eat that shit up because that's what pokemon fans do.
Starting with Gen 10 and Pokemon Bright Red, Deep Blue, and Shocking Yellow (which are literally RBY again), you get to experience the joys of catching pokemon... again, from the very beginning. Except this time, with the modern typings and mechanics. This includes EXP share which is now always on, but with the inclusion of the BW/BW2 EXP caps which immediately grind XP gain to a halt on any pokemon at the same level as the highest leveled pokemon that the next Gym Leader has. Also, HMs are now RMs - Retro Machines to keep the moves as options. Instead of HMs, you receive Items to help you traverse the field (i.e., an inflatable raft for Surf). In Amber, Pikachu can learn the RM Surf normally - and high-scoring the surfing minigame teases the next games, pokemon Gleaming Gold, Shining Silver, and Clear Crystal (also we're going to issue a C&D for Crystal Clear fuck you). All the gym leaders now have full teams that aren't necessarily harder (fuck radical reddit we're also issuing a C&D for that) but give you a gauntlet. You can rematch all the gyms + E4 to see them with stronger pokemon with moves designed by wolfey (who we will hire as a consultant). Following pokemon is now mandatory/
From here on we're literally going to make gens 11-18 straight up do-overs of gens 2-9 all done in the same style, fuck this experimental bullshit. After gen 11 is done, we're releasing My Pokemon PC, a new service that's free if you have at least one gen 10 and gen 11 game purchased on your My Nintendo account. Otherwise, 60 USD a month.
