I mean, Puzzle League still is just literally reskinned, unreleased Panel De Pon title for GBC and with some arbitrary code execution you can actually unlock the original game that is under the Pokemon Facade.
It's nothing to get excited about, just another Tetris/Puyo Puyo clone with Pokemon paint sloppily put on it. It's also noth some disgustingly bad game so >>53492793 is a faggot, too.

The game itself is still great, and the 3D game mode is an interesting idea. I've had it crash on me though for some reason. Surprisingly, the Nintendo Collection Panel de Pon is way more insufferable to listen to even though Pokemon Puzzle League just uses downgraded anime music and sounds. Still a great game, but holy fuck half the characters in that version sound horrible, and that's on top of the butchered character themes compared to the SNES.

BDSP were dogshit but they aren't really buggy anymore.
SV on the other hand is actually Sonic 06 tier, probably even worse since at least 06 tried to look nice and had good music and SV has neither.
The thing is that Sonic 06 culturally was such a massive fucking disaster that it has become synonymous with terrible game design and killed all momentum for Sonic near permanently, it is a miracle that Sonic even exists and pulls 1 million+ units each release. Pokemon will never have that because its fans outright defend shitty game design, SV in spite of the initial frozen reception got the "b-but ITS FUN" treatment from retards real fast.

The only battle theme in the game I'd say is solidly good is the Star Grunt theme which plays against the most pathetic enemies in the game who all have 1 Pokemon you knock out in 20 seconds
