At least we get attempts at pandering but can we really sit here and complain on a lithuanian hog hunting enthusiasts board that we aren't getting the dark souls of turn based monster collecting battlers level of quality when these games are just built to capture the hearts of little kids? DO I want the latter instead of the former? Of course. Does the reality make more sense? Yes. Maybe eventually they'll do better with a smarter hard modes etc. but for now I'm just happy to play pokemon at all when they come out and play other games in between.
