I haven't seen any myself and I'm also going off second hand info. Apparently Ash believes that to be a Pokemon Master, you have to be able to befriend all Pokemon. Since Latios didn't accept him, he has work to do with the Eon Dragons, and that's his next goalpost in his now offscreen adventures.
