>Who is ‘Kayda’?
Kayda-chan is an original character created by an anonymous poster of /vp/, who in February was voicing their contempt for the designs of nu-gen Drago-mon; specifically critisizing their lack of traditional, dragon-like appearances.
The salmon-haired, ample-bosomed character was quickly popularized by users of /vp/, spawning multiple fan-art posts, side characters, and the inevitably-subsequent ‘Rule 34’ tributes.
Canonically, Kayda has a little sister named ‘Ryoko-chan’, who prefers the newer, goofier designs of later-gen Drago-mon. She also has an acquaintance named ‘Tatsuo-san’, who specializes in training Pokémon that are less-renowned for their ‘Dragon’ typing.
>The name of the art style Kayda-chan is drawn in is called ‘OEKAKI’, which utilizes a minimalist color palette; often drawn in MS Paint and other primitive drawing applications.
