I consider gen 2 one of the best gens in pokémon, why you ask? Well, it’s the one that makes me feel the most and the one with the most genuine feel, take entering the national park as an example, when you enter it it just feels special, it feels sacred even, the music that’s playing is just fenomenal and the are really feels wild yet cared for by the people living in Johto, gen 2 really is what pokemon as a franchise should strive for, bot some weak ass “muh tear jerker” or some shit, that just feels like plastic, I wonder if we will ever have a pokémon game like GSC that manages to feel as genuine
