The same boring game with its hallways and countless NPC interruptions that will be rightfully criticized, though the blame will be put onto changes to 3D as a scapegoat to defend the game from criticism, just like what happened with BDSP

It's going to be the same shit but with shittier online and none of the game modes it introduced.
I'd like to see BW but with an offline replacement to dream world, more overworld pokemon, triples/rotations in the battle subway and institute, and a pwt replacement.

Actual free camera and full sized models to roam around Unova with QOL changes and terasalizing gimmick added along with all 1000+ mons in the game, no dexcut bs

Don't forget that they might give enemy trainers EVs and "good movesets" but it will be the same boring mash A fest because of forced friendship and forced exp share and tons of incredibly powerful Pokemon handed to you but people will still say that it's one of muh hardest games therefore it's good

I hate the idea that they'll replace the animated 2d sprites with soulless 3d models. That's why I NEVER want gen 5 remakes.

I like the sprite’s glowing effects. It’s not much, but the lack of it in its modern 3D model hurts it a lot.
The kyurem forms suffered even more in the switch to 3D. The tubes aren’t even animated and they don’t transfer fluid to the main body any more… so what’s the point?

A bad game made in earnest is way better than bad game that was always intended as shovelware slop

What do you think about OT2? It’s a lot more similar to Gen 5 in that it has a day/night cycle and surf areas, and from what I’ve seen the dungeons are more interesting than the the first.

Gen 5 was Masuda's magnum opus. I remember him trying really hard to do new things and he was devastated by the relative poor reception by normies at the time because you couldn't catch Pikachu or Charizard. I really think Masuda became a broken man after that. It explains why all the subsequent gens have had considerable less effort put into them and less originality as they shamelessly piggyback off of gen 1 constantly.

If gen 5 does get a remake, it will unironically be good if Masuda returns as producer/director. But it will be shit if he isn't.

Remake BW/B2W2 as one game, and then release Legends Kyurem as "B3W3" to complete the trilogy and finish the story of the original dragon

of course this is soulful and makes sense, so GF won't do it (just like they never did some sort of crossover DLC for PLA and BDSP)
