That said, technically speaking, SV looks way better but a lot of people here are using emulators to make it look bad and purposely choosing bad looking places to show the game. The exact opposite of what you did: improving the visuals with an emulator, especially the resolution, and chosing the best possible looking places.
Also, it should not be surprising that an open world game is a more technically demanding game.
But take your SV game, go to Casseroya Lake at sunset or in the Tagtree Thicket during the night and you'll see how much better the graphics in SV are.
