>>53525091Golem and Gengar give you something more Spikes-centric, not only can you get up Spikes with Cloyster but you can Rapid Spin your opponent's and block their Spin with Gengar. Gengar also gives you another bait-exploder, bringing the total up to 4 on that team to facilitate something like blowing up Raikou *and* Snorlax for a Zapdos sweep.
The downsides are that Golem fears HP Electrics a lot more than Steelix, so you might have to run RestTalk Snorlax to compensate. Since you're out a coverage move on Snorlax and a win condition in Vaporeon, the team is a little less flexible in how it can win, and you might end up relying on Zapdos to bring things home a lot more than with BORAT's team. But again, the flipside of that is that you have Spikes + spinblocking + 4 Explosions to potentially set up your Zapdos for a win.
