Honestly, I was hoping that GF would make a game focused on old fans, similar to when Let's Go was made for new fans.

The new exp system is fine but they need to actually fucking balance the game around it being there instead of just pretending only one pokemon still gets exp

Half of these things are just pointless, if not actually bad for the gameplay, and trying to stick them on to "soul" is just lazy.
Crys for random things like these instead of actual improvement are why the series has gotten as bad as it has. They throw people a few hits of nostalgia and you'll eat it right up just to go back to saying pokemon is dead a year later because some other outdated mechanic gets replaced.
