I thing to remember is that older gens had a 10 character limit on naming Pokemon, which is why Feraligatr's name is so retarded.

Searching up weaknesses is dumb but sometimes you forget certain type interactions, but that’s more on what you think is resisted but isn’t.
Rock doesn’t resist itself oddly enough.
And then you have Bug and Fighting who resist each other
