So the logic probably goes that if Zacian/Zamazenta went berserk, seemingly turning on the Galar Region and the current royal family stepped in to stop them then the people would view the royal family as the sole true rulers.
>>53542862It's never really specified what Galar's political state is, it could just be a constitutional monarchy with a very limited head of state where the real power exists with the government. I doubt that Sordward and Shielbert were the only members of the royal family so one of their relatives either took over as monarch or was already a monarch (we're never actually told what their role is). Regardless I assume the league is just one branch of the overall Galar government, seems kinda stupid if someone like Rose was in charge of stuff like Agriculture, Defence, etc. (I mean hell, just look at how useless he was at Energy).
