Reminder that BW1 wanted to push for more 3D presentation

Reminder that Game Freak is well within its right to retool BW1 as a full 3D game or at least a game that plays like Sun/Moon or Sword/Shield

Reminder that "faithful" fags who want the game to be just like the DS but with 3D character graphics are holding back history and potential.

I've set my expectations so low that a BDSP style remake of BW would be acceptable to me.

But they WILL find a way to fuck it up. I don't know how yet, but they will.

They should do the BW remakes then a year later do the B2W2 remakes - it's not as if it would take that long since they already have 80% of the games mapping done.

5 is the worst generation in terms of human designs, Pokemon designs, region design, story design.
Needs a full overhaul before I consider it, otherwise it'll be the first game I haven't completed since B2W2

If I were to overdose on patterns, I would just like to point out that they started to do re-remakes in the order of their original release. LGPE fit in the slot of FRLG remakes, and because generation five didn’t have a remake, and is the last generation without a remake, come generation eleven, they could do B2W2 remakes after BW remakes in generation ten. This is assuming they’d have already visited Johto in Gen 9. Then the pattern would continue as normal (XY remakes in Gen 12, Hoenn revisit in Gen 13, Alola in Gen 14, back to Kanto in 15, Galar in 16, Sinnoh in 17, Paldea in 18, Johto in 19, Gen 10 region in 20, etc.) sorry for being a schizo patternfag but….

The problem with BDSP besides it's bugs is that it was based on DP instead of Platinum

Both BW and B2W2 are amazing games so unless Masuda purposely removes shit for no reason in the BW remakes, there shouldn't be any problems

Unironically i think, next remake will be gen 2 again, because they maked lgpe after gen 3 remakes. It will be the most boring remake, if they got bdsp treatment. I rather want two versions of pokemon legends celebi with past timeline in johto region and future timeline in unova region instead. They maked tons of gen 2 and gen 5 forms already or maybe walking wake and iron leaves will evolve into beast from scarlet/Violet books?

The problem is you think that's a problem. Newsflash, they don't give a fuck about the rehashes, beyond being extra sales they get to make the following year. That's why the series lead director moves onto the next game when he makes any lead pair, leaving some younger schlub to run pickup. That's partly why they've never bothered remaking rehashes - they spend less than a year with a small team to spit it out compared to three with the majority of the studio's total development staff as well as the clear and obvious elephant in the room of the majority of the world NOT buying the shitty rehash du jour (another reason rehash-as-DLC is better than rehash release games, people WILL buy DLC if offered, especially if they can carry progress over vs having to completely restart, just so see some minor new content additions and potential new pokémon).
