The modern format of "controls on the side of the screen" sucks, it sorta worked on the GBA but on anything else, especially the modern huge displays, it just feels awful to hold, doesn't feel properly supported while also feeling simultaneously too big AND clausterphobic.
But we're never going back to the clamshell design because flip phones are out of style (despite the fact that companies keep trying to make folding smarphones because people want them)
