Honestly, it really is a shame that the pokemon has become such a symbol for degenerate coomers. There's a lot of potential for actually fun and interesting, non-lewd things with Zorua and Zoroark.
Heck they even got their own neat regional evos...which were then, ALSO promptly thrown into the "SEXO" bin :/

Imagine living, for years even, alongside some humans, making friends with them and everything as a Zorua using illusions to make them think you're just another human.
And then you get found out one day? Shit the'y might treat you like /k/ and /x/ treat skinwalkers in the greentexts from there kek. At the very least I don't think they would think all that well of you, even if you had been their friend for years. The anime/games/etc doesn't really show all that many humans treating pokemon nicely or like equals, even the ones that are arguably more capable of them in various ways. There's an autist that sometimes shows up to screech about that being the original premise and such of the franchise, even though that's been not the case for decades now, but you still see pokemon generally treated a lot differently than humans, and to find out that someone you thought was a human friend of yours turned out to be a pokemon all along would be quite shocking to people.
