Are we sure you're not talking about SV? PLA was relatively stable for me for my first playthrough, while I was plagued with bugs and even a couple of random crashes during my first SV playthrough.

No, I am not, but make no mistake that I am very aware of SV's insane shit. PLA crashed on me and I saw monsters clipping thru ground where I couldn't reach them often, sure.
But SV? Crashed on me MULTIPLE times and I saw monsters clip thru walls, float off-screen and just straight up get stuck in a weird situation where a Houndoom fell off a waterfall but would magically teleport to me everytime it was attacking me.
PLA was unpolished, but SV was a whole different level of bad.

It's funny how Nintendo is supposed to be the only company making video games not movie games yet Pokemon exists.
Even fucking Sonyslop like God of War and Horizon Zero Men, to their credit, do try to look nice and be more game than movie. I can't say the same of the last few gens of Pokemon. And to Nintendo's credit, for the most part they've maintained the status of people actually making fun games and yet Pokemon just sits there like some rotting festering wart. It's like placing Nikocado next to all the cute Korean girls who do mukbang videos. Fucking disgusting

yeah if you skip all the sidequests and the arceus ending (by not completing the dex)
I played PLA for 55h and SV lasted me 35h
