>>53562735>nor can you name three (3) genuinely fun things about this gameSure I can try
1. Big, open world felt like an adventure compared to all the previous gens. Despite all the fucking cutscenes, I was looking forward to them ending so I could get back into exploring and hunting for loot.
2. Non-linear map meant no more bullshit roadblocks. I had a blast doing whatever I wanted, whenever I felt like, trying different routes in multiple playthroughs and running into actually difficult challenges early on when I pushed into higher level zones. Earlier games were just fucking laundry lists of shit to do in each area before moving onto the next designated area with another laundry list, and you couldn't access everything until you beat the entire game. By that point, having access to everything didn't mean anything because you already beat the game! It's like gens 3-8 the game only exists to collect shit for competitive or battle tower shit ("endgame"), and that's fucking lame.
3. Co-op raids are stupid fun if you aren't a ragetard who gets pissed at pugs. Unlike SS, they're really easy to farm and reset now too. I personally hate comp, but I love boss fights, and the type matchup fuckery from tera typing is a good repeatable challenge. In my opinion, they're not going to be able to top this gimmick and I hope they include it next gen.
But don't get me wrong, there's a lot I don't like about SV as a game. Really a lot. Starting with the unresponsive UI, poor performance, constant fucking cutscenes, the shitty handholding design choices and all that. But I like more than I don't. What kind of fucking idiot throws out the baby with the bathwater anyway?
