>>53579409Cat has owned many Bug-Types throughout her life, including Caterpie, Wurmple, Ledyba, Spinarak, and Cutiefly; typically catching them during their vulnerable first stage and nurturing them until they are finished evolving and are strong enough to fend for themselves. Although goodbyes are often difficult, Cat's efforts are often rewarded as her old friends return next season to introduce Cat to their offspring. So far, Sewaddle has been one of her favorites to raise, and her prized Leavanny and its descendants always stay near her home on warm sunny days.
She once had a Whirlipede, which she deemed the jewel of her Bug-Type portfolio, though her sedentary lifestyle clashed with Whirlipede's innate desire to GO FAST, and they were forced to part ways prematurely when Whirlipede's pent-up energy turned to aggression and a neighbor's Pachirisu was almost mauled.
She sometimes wonders if she could have done more to help train it, and if it would have been possible to tie a lawn chair to a Scolipede's back as it races through the park. Maybe in another life.
Recently, a Venonat has been sleeping during the day in a nearby tree. The desire to sleep the day away resonates strongly with Cat, and she's making plans to find out how to lure it into nesting on her balcony instead.
