Doing things like paying bills and being an adult doesn't mean you can't still be a kid at heart and do fun things
We've got a real problem with people refusing to grow up just enough to be functional at minimum...so often we hear about the modern manchild problem but women can be just as bad and are equally worthy of mockery
I've had similar situations anon except the main person that comes to mind is now 29, living with her dad after moving out of her mom's, has never had a job or lived independently, and has ebegged for money on her kofi for moving funds despite her dad footing the bills anyway
She also blows all her spare money on toys because in her head it makes her THE top fan to have the most plushies and the most drawings of her character
It's literally all she has and it's incredibly sad that her whole identity being THE (character) girl and having enablers online
She never has anything bad to say about the series ever, just consooms and gets excited for next product
I love my yume'ing and my husbandos but I've got a real life to live too and it doesn't depreciate the fun I have with my personal fantasy world
I don't blame you for having a bad taste in your mouth from yumes, most of the really visible ones are like this and they are insufferable
Main reason I pulled out of fandom altogether
