That's only for Shadows of Almia and Guardian Signs. Pokemon Ranger uses a passcode for the Manaphy Egg mission.

Yes, using the custom dns, manaphy is available on all three instead of just ranger1

None of them honestly
The only "good" one is Shadows of Almia and that starts with a 5 hour sequence of nonstop talking before getting to anything interesting

Almia and Guardian Signs since they both have exclusive Transfer Pokemon.
Also by connecting to a Custom DS Server, you can get all Wi-Fi events for both games.

Really linear game where the gameplay is just spinning circles
If you want somewhat of a challenge then just play the first one without using any Assists or Plusle/Minun
Rest are too easy even with restrictions
