I know that they need to be more E for everyone now, but why the fuck did they have to trash ashes development? He's a copy and paste average children show protagonist now, the only times he had development was in XYZ when he was going through it and also developing meaningful relationships with his friends/pokemon. Ik they recently brought ash greninja back, but ash just isn't the same guy he was then. He de-aged, and didn't say a word about Serena for years.
