Why is everything but the gym leaders so fucking weak in emerald? For example, Wattson is level 20-24 but all the trainers around his gym are around level 15. And then the trainers literally don't get stronger than the low 20s until after the 5th fucking gym. It would be one thing if this were a case of the gym leaders just being really strong but it truly isn't, there's so much EXP that you'll easily be matching the levels of the gym leaders, the other trainers and actually just THAT weak. Makes the game feel significantly more inconsistent in terms of enjoyability
