Stuff like this and thinking kids are going to not pay much attention to their games so they shouldn't even try sets themselves up for failure around every turn. They really need to reassess what the series truly was built on and build around that using whatever hardware they can use. I think if I were to do so, it would probably be the player interactivity within the series. Who knows what The Pokémon Company could truly come up with using all of their capital? They could crank their game capability up to 11 and even do their own hardware but as far as I know, they don't have R&D set up to even do this.
