Usually the quality of starter trios are pretty balanced. Either they're all kinds subpar (Gen 5, or they're all very impressive (gen 3). Maybe once every couple gens there's a trio that have one design lagging behind the other two. (gen 6)

But have we ever seen a trio of starters that have two disgusting abominations, and one that is a GOAT design of all time?
