7* Tera Raid offmeta strategies thread

I was bored and tested if it is possible to defeat the newest 7* raid with my bro in singleplayer, i actually managed after two failed attempts (pic related)

Anyone else tried odd Pokémon for this raid?

OP here again, build if anyone is interested:
Rowlet @ Eviolite
Tera Flying
Impish nature
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
- Sunny Day
- Synthesis
- Swords Dance
- Tera Blast

Grass/Flying with Tera Flying is actually decent for this raid as it doesn't pack any Ice type attacks. Tera Blast the first three turns, then tera + SDay for weaking his Aqua Cutter, then SD + Tera Blast. With at least an Intimidate partner, it should work.

I picked SD + Impish instead of NP + Bold as it does a bit more damage (Samurott is Lonely natured).

Ground would be neat as it fits Typhlosion's volcano theme, but it only gets EQ and Stomping Tantrum. It could also use special Tera Blast tho. I expect it to set up Sunny Day either on turn 0 or at some point, for Solar Beam / Fire STAB shenanigans.

I think it could be a Steel type?
Since it does have some Ground/Fairy moves to counter Fire/Fighting types

Didn't know it gets Play Rough, it still sucks that it's not a special move. I have seen people speculating Chesnaught to be the Steel-type one due to its knight theme, but who knows. Typh has Flash Fire as its HA so Fire is already countered (which includes Grass into the speculation for Solar Beam STAB).
