Hisuian Voltorn and Electrode did it much better even though those were concieved before paradox mons ever existed. PLA takes place in a game where pokeball technology is primitive and Voltorb and Electrode mimic what pokeballs existed at the time which is cool. if they debuted in SV they would have just slapped spikes and sharp teeth on them and called it a day. they thought process seems to be "spikes and sharp teeth = past"
