Yeah but Marill doesn’t look like it should live underground. It looks like a pond or swamp Pokemon. Should’ve been on the same route as Wooper (route 32).

Azumarill was beyond useless before it got huge power ability and got physical split in gen 4.
idk they made a pathetically useless pokemon only catchable in an obscure location mid game, even more baffling considering marill was the pikachu mascot of gen 2.

Personally I would have preferred the Safari Zone(which should be a normal dungeon instead of the retarded gimmick)
