Like every raid before it, it is a matter of knowing the match up.
I dunno if people are getting are getting better at the game or what but I lost the Charizard raid more than any other.

Important: solo is easier. You only get time penalty if you yourself faint, not the bots. If you do it with other players, each time someone faints there is a big penalty. That's likely why you almost lost.

I did it myself and still do it for resources, granted my ape is from a 6 star raid as well. Defiant ability and slap a shell bell on it. Moves are rage fist, screech, taunt, drain punch.

Tauros can tank at least one Aqua Cutter. Just get a Sunny Day up, anger point maxes out attack if it hits you with a crit and then spam raging bull.
