Gen 2 has a lot of hidden gems:
>Headbutting trees at night reveals SLEEPING Pokémon
>Radio channel "Poké March" and "Lullaby" increases or decrease wild encounters
>Caught/hatched mon's happiness increases faster if you're in the route where it was obtained
>Defense Curl doubles your Rollout attack power
>Rain Dance gives Thunder 100% accuracy
>Thunder hits through FLY
>Earthquake hits through DIG
>Shuckle can turn Berries into Berry Juice
>Dozen Pokémon that can run away (Teddiursa, Phanpy, Tangela, etc...)
>Pokemon's gender is decided by DVs (Females have lower Attack DV than Males)
>Because of this, shiny female mons don't exist (Shinies are also determined by DVs)
>Firebreather Dick in Burned Tower turns grey after you battle him
>You can get 8 guaranteed Shinies (7 from Odd Eggs, utilizing cloning glitch & the Gyarados)
>make sure you get triple Tyrogues, to get a shiny for each of his evolutions
>using the same cloning glitch, you can get all 3 starters..
>Master Balls can be won as the ultimate prize from Buena's Password radio channel
>In the Ruins of Alph, check your radio. There's an eerie, creepy channel
