It wasn’t always like that, before most people who didn’t like Johto ar least tried to make sense and actually knew about the games so their opinion was worth a damn. It’s just that now its “cool” to shit on Johto so now 90% of anti johto posts are from Zoomers and ultra casuals who know fuck all about the games and are merely parroting Pokémon Challenges’ shitpost and his imitators.

Based. HGSS and BW2 are great because the base games (GSC and BW, respectively) are good, Emerald is good because the base games (RS) are mediocre, and Platinum is mediocre because the base games (DP) are trash. Gen 6-9 are mostly trash, but still not as trash as DP.

Gen 2 hate is literally just zoomers acting out. They weren't old enough to play them on release, so they have no way to accurately judge them, and they know they've missed out on something special because of all the praise they get from people that know better.

That's why they all just parrot the same old 'flaws' as if they're reading them a list, because they literally are. They haven't actually played them. You have to be autistic to think that Murkrow and Houndour being in Kanto or esoteric concepts like 'level curves' are actually things that a reasonable player cares about.

That's literally the exact opposite of what happened, Typhlosion was banned from PU (whether it actually deserved the ban is up to you but the smoggies claimed it was broken enough to warrant banning it did), BL isn't a playable tier so anyone that wanted to use it HAD to used it in NU or higher.

Most Typhlosionfans (at least the ones I've interacted to) are fine with the flames being off outside of battle, they just think it should be on during full battle since it makes the most sense that way (basically the way the anime and as of now Scarlet and Violet portray it)
