There would be no reason to fake discussion taking credit for a psycho's conspiracy theory when they didn't know anyone would see it, and the use of the graphs mentioned also lined up consistently with their posting style at the time.
It's real, or at best, coincidentally a Johto fan made multiple posts intentionally manipulating information to lie about the games and blame boogeymen for all their problems as a defense, which other people happily went along with, and it was so ridiculous that even the discord raiders noticed the absolute insanity.
Either way, we've been dealing with a psycho's conspiracy theory for 2 years when the existence of this image should've ended any consideration of it no matter the context.
