>>53607068I'm still surprised it doesn't get any Electric or Ground coverage considering it has the volcano inspiration and I very clearly recall using Thunder Punch on mine back in the Generation 2 days so I know it had access to stuff in the past. Does it still get Burn Up in SV? I remember that being something unique about it in older games too.
If you ask me, not that I'm an expert or anything, this is what it probably should pick up in addition to what it has now. Some of these could go to H-Typhlosion as well. Not too worried about Status moves here, just coverage/flavor:
>Tbolt (original only)>Earth Power (both)>Ancient Power (both)>Flash Cannon (original only)>Outrage (original only, it had original entries referring to it flying into a rage)>Dark Pulse (Hisuian only)>Mystical Fire (Hisuian only)>Smog (both)>Sludge Bomb (both)>Clear Smog (both)>Trailblaze (original only)>Flame Wheel (modify to be a special variant of Flame Charge)>Purify (Hisuian only)>Moonblast (Hisuian only)I'm also probably a crazy person, but I think that they should change the HA for both forms. Hisuian getting Frisk is nice but it doesn't feel the most helpful to what its eventual playstyle will probably be. And while Flash Fire makes sense for Typhlosion, the dex entries constantly mention it flying into a rage and having the ability to obscure itself behind a shimmering heat haze. It should get something more reflective of either of those, either Anger Point (which is more for flavor but would also allow you to make it a true mixed attacker), Berserk (which is also for flavor but then will allow you to be a better special attacker) or some unique ability to has something to do with boosting its Evasion or Defenses when hit with Fire/using Fire. Also, what is up with the entries mentioning explosions and this thing doesn't learn any exploding moves outside maybe Dynamic Punch and the big burst Fire moves?
