It's fun if you go with the mentality of seeing how far you get and how things turn out instead of making it about purely winning. Game got a bit easier with the new option to get your pokemon back,but I guess you can just ignore that

Also have been playing. A lot of fun. Won my first attempt when I stumbled upon a Rayquaza that proceedeed to DD sweep all the way to Steven. Won my second attempt by a combination of Garchomp and Zacian

Just lost an attempt super early on, I was starting with a Latias and got swept by a Farfetch'd with Fury Cutter. Such is life
