I always hear route 113 get praise (deserved) but never this route. All of north western hoenn has a really unique vibe, and while this route is a little more vanilla than route 113 it still has some cool unique aesthetics.
Also I really like seviper/zangoose, I remember catching a seviper here on my first playthrough and loving it, brought it all the way to the E4.
