Do you think people in game freak like every other gaming company back then filled with nerds subconsciously put more importance in the psychic type to be the apex type even "strong" and effective against fighting type pokemon as a result of an inferiority complex nerds and beta males tend to have or was it simply a consequence of having to find an effective type against strength type. I’m seriously inclined to believe the nerds at game freak really thought that somehow psychic/mind/brains/intelligence in general beats the brute force of their chad bullies from high school but then again, it's really a matter of what type came first when designing the weak/effective scheme.
It wouldn't surprise that it was a cope from beta males.
