I'm positive Home compatibility is going to release along Late April update. Seems the logic as they haven't mention anything about the update other than the release date frame.

i sure wish we had some mode of gameplay that let us use our bros without making them battle. maybe a 'contest' of some sort that let you show off your pokemon's appeal in some way. it sure would be nuts if we had other modes besides the perpetually broken PVP, like maybe some in depth PvE content where you can get away with using less than optimal, meta picks like everyone else. a 'frontier' if you will, to take over and battle powerful NPC trainers.

just something to think about idk

Yeah no Game Freak would let that happen. And even if they did you just know shillmons would be given an unfair advantage.
