What's your doubles strategy for catching all shadow Pokémon in the GCN titles? I'm probably overthinking it so I want to hear what everybody else does.

Chlorophyll boosted Skiploom/Jumpluff with sleep powder will outspeed pretty much anything the game throws at you. Having either the shadow pokemon or the other pokemon asleep will make the battle into a more managable 2 on 1 for a period of time. It worked very well for me in colosseum and you have a few options of pokemon that will get sunny day either upon capture or upon purification, not sure about Gale of Darkness though.

the gamecube titles have the catch rate of every shadow pokemon adjusted to match the point in the game you get them. as a result most are pretty easy
