Well, we have a turtle, like the last two third legendaries, it's related o the gimmick of the Gen in some fashion and almost-certainly, like the past two third legendaries, it's probably going to get a form change to turn it into the big crystal shelled thing, because, and I can't actually stress this enough, it's related to the gimmick of the Gen.
I'm sorry your brain short-circuited, because they forced you to pay for the third legendary this time. But that doesn't mean it immediately throws it into "addon Legendary" tropes. It's still technically part of the box legendary trio after all.
